The 'Checklist for Life' book for this insight, starts with two great questions. The first . . . How many smart people do you know? For most, we would start thinking of instructors, bosses, colleagues, doctors/nurses, business leaders, etc. And the second . . . Now, how many wise people do you know? When you think on that, there is a good chance that list will reduce to a lot fewer. So then, why is that?
It's because, when we think about what it takes to be smart – we see that as gathering knowledge. But when we think on what it takes to be wise, we know that there is an added challenge, a gain of perspective and it (wisdom) is often seen in those who have some good years of experience 'under their belt' aka . . . |
“Being smart is knowing about something, whereas being wise is discerning what to do with that knowledge.”

So, what, when and where you pursue wisdom, is your choice. One thing that we know, is that Bible shares so many insights to the pursue of wisdom. Along with that, is the challenge to link up with those who you view as people who are wise.
