As men trying to be the best that we can be, confidence is a great characteristic to have – but one we must be careful of. Why? Because the confidence we have today, could become the arrogance we struggle with tomorrow. So please, consider the following: First, remember that these words are shared, not only as a challenge to you, but also as a recommendation, in regards to what would you share on this with your kids and or your grandkids? From those thoughts, I offer up this reminder. |
But those are my thoughts – what say you?
Now, while you think about this; consider the following words
(I don't know who said them but I think they are good ones to remember).
Walk away from people who put you down. Walk away from fights that will never be resolved.
Walk away from trying to please people who will never see your worth. Why? The more you walk away from the things that poison your soul, the happier you will be.
Then third and in closing. All of the above is provided to just help in getting you to think about all the aspects of confidence. Starting to think is the first step, making changes in your life and taking the actions required, is the commitment to change. And through everything, we remember:
Proverbs 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
