And yes I know those words are worth a re-read. When I first read them, I thought this could be a negative but in thinking on them, I see it as a positive. How? Everything that unfolds in our lives – the good and the bad – is a part of what makes us who we are. The bad teaches us lessons that can help guide us in the times ahead and the good fuels us to pursue 'more of it'. The keys are our attitude and our perspective on life (length, width, depth) as we navigate through it. |
These keys enable us to know that the bad actions in our past, are not a life sentence but are life lessons. We don't have to accept previous outcomes as being permanent realities but we do have to accept them as the events that helped to shape us into who we are becoming. https://outingmnfun.weebly.com/ (FYI: this is our brother website for our other 'Why Not' postings.)

With this blog, we kick of a new series focused on the type of Why Not considerations for us all. The various movies we see are often a fun way to help us look at the things like we should. For example, the Captain America movies help us to see . . . Greg E. Lang shared ”Seek justice not only for yourself but also for everyone.” From those words, we also know that news sources, the social platforms and political groups all tout their views – which we may or may not agree with. Unfortunately, what is right or wrong may be argued by many. It is a complex world in which we live so please join us on the strive for justice challenge and remember these . . .
Now don't take this as a 'guilt trip' but do take it as an awareness challenge.
