Today is a good day for a Pause & Ponder (P&P). Why? I assume most are like me in thinking . . . what the heck is going on with the evil, horrible actions the few are doing to the many? Now, I'll share some of my thoughts on this but remember - this is P&P time, so I ask you to pause & ponder as well, to see if you would agree. First, the family units of a Dad & Mom teaching their kids right from wrong, are becoming fewer & fewer. Second, our societies are now in the mindset of allowing excuses verses ensuring accountability. Third, too many don't want to call out wrong doing by their friends, their coworkers, their leaders - so the wrongs are allowed, evil grows and the innocents suffer more and more. So, what can we do? I would hope more and more of us start stepping up to ensure accountability in themselves and in others. We have to look at who we are with and who is doing what. If wrong doing is being done, we better be doing what we can to fight it. And it starts with us realizing . . . we all need to do a better job of working together to ensure wrongs are dealt with effectively. | Now, how best to start? Well, the company we keep is a good way to see if we are a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. We need to realize, we may be fortunate or blessed but in a wider view, these are not the best of times. So let us all do each other a favor. P&P how you are doing, what you're allowing and what you're embracing. Is it all goodness or are some changes needed? And don't forget, if you are a parent, you need to consider what your kids are doing, what they're learning, who they are with, etc. etc. If you're not helping them to pursue good friends and good actions, why not? |
Now to close - yes I know the above are just some words to hopefully help you, I and others to start thinking. There are no easy answers but we need to make sure we are doing whatever we can to help. So, after you do some P&P, make sure if there is any follow up ideas and actions to pursue, that you do so.
Thank you and remember . . .

And if you have 3 minutes sometime soon, here is a great video (Walk the Talk - YouTube) I shared previously. View it and share it with someone you think would appreciate it.
