First would be to never stop. Second [if you possibly stopped or have lost track of wanting to learn] is to embrace . . . Re-set, Re-Adjust, Re-start, and to Re-focus as many times as you need to. Just don't quit and you'll never be sorry that you did.
Why? Your brain is the smart version of every muscle that you have. And by that we should know this: Lack of use (challenge) leads to atrophy - just like all of the muscles in our body aka . . . Use It or Lose It. So, read, pursue discussions and even debate things – anything that has you thinking, reacting and if possible – taking action for the good things that need to be done. In doing so, you not only will add to your wisdom, you are a good role model as well for your kids, grand-kids and others. And last of all, while doing so, please don't forget your faith (we should always be growing in that as well). Psalm 86:11 ”Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” |
