aka What shapes us? And know it is more based on how others view us, then on how we view ourselves. Therefore each of us should remember that our actions (seen & unseen) are the collective evidence to our character. This then is our collective challenge. That is to be purposeful in all that we do (our thoughts, words and actions). Our lives are not about being better, richer, more popular that others. | It's about being better then who we were the day before. To strive to be the best that we can be in caring for our loved ones and others, in seeing where there are wrongs or evils and doing something about them, and in understanding that we all don't have to agree on everything. |
But remember - we can appreciate other and as best can – we can work together. So yes . . . Character Matters always has, always will. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
