And Alan Jackson's song 'Where were you . . .' is rolling through my mind (his words are so poignant). That day – 2,977 people died and most likely there would have been more if the heroes aboard United Airlines flight 93 had not fought for and prevented that flight from going onto the terrorist's intended target. |
Look at the domestic terrorists that we have running loose across of cities – looting, arson, killing in the dark of night . . . wreaking havoc in many of our cities across America. 9/11 was caused by foreigners but what we see happening today is by those who are hijacking the intent of the black lives matter pursuit (the end of discrimination and justice). |
Those who are causing the damage and the hurt are not patriots, they are terrorists. But it is in thinking about this - we then need to look at our own thoughts, words & actions. Are they helpful, are they enough to be viewed as being a good patriot? The what we should do, when and how is up to each of us, each day. Thank you for reflecting on this and for joining us in prayer for those who died that 9/11 day, for those who were injured, for all of their families, and for those who fought the good fight – who tried to help. |
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed,
but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. Second Corinthians 4:8-10
