In writing this today, a month before Father's Day 2022, I encourage all young(er) Dads to . . . First, use the next few weeks to think about the aspects wrapped around . . . “How am I doing as a Dad?” It always is found in how we are juggling the challenges of work, mixed in with what we're doing with our family, keeping an eye on the home maintenance, bills, etc. And yes, buried within those is your Dad Time (is it good or not so?). Second, as you are looking at your Dad Time, a part of what is helping to teach your young ones, the key things in life (is it on how to think & learn, is it on the faith you want them to understand, is it on values, manners or what?) Third, is to remember that you probably are missing out on one or more aspects of Dad Time, but that can be adjusted. So, look at where you're spending your time and make the needed adjustments. |

and when they are old, they will not depart from it.
