We must understand that all things in life are not easily viewed as black or white, as good or bad. Compassion – the act of helping others – is easier for us individually to pursue because we can decide the who, the how and the when. But for our state and national governments it quickly becomes complex (what is the need, how is it managed, how is it funded, etc?). |
Having it is good, taking the right actions is the challenge.
What say you (any recommendations)?
At a minimum, we all need to think about compassion and ensure we can see it in action in our life. Small or large, it is all good.
"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." - Matthew 9:36
