And yes, there could be a few out there who had this unfold more than a once or twice occurrence.
But, being older, we need to be wiser.
As in 1st – maybe don't do something that we may later regret. 2nd – maybe realize it is just better to walk away from a bad situation and stay out of the mess. And/or 3rd – choose the most difficult path and that is to see the mess unfolding and staying engaged to find a way to make it better (if possible).
Which brings up this reality. Life is full of ups and downs and a ton of weird, frustrating and sad times because – that is just the way life is. And in knowing this, we all need to remember the old saying . . . “You can't control what happens to you but you can control how you respond to it.” So think before you run and if you can do better then that, think before you speak and act. And that then brings up the bonus opportunity. That being, think about what you can do to help pass on some wisdom on this to your son, daughter or friends – that helps them to be aware and to possibly, start thinking more. |
As to why? [it's because] We're all here to help each other. And remember . . . Galatians 5:16 Walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. P.S. Just a quick thanks to Jim Unger for his Herman humor and a thanks to Kenny Rogers for his Gambler wisdom shared. We all benefit when we look and listen to others and then use what we learn, to help us move forward on our days ahead. |
