Greetings everyone and my apologies for this posting being a few days late. As you can see by my words to the right, the lessons learned from this week's thirteenth trail: Crisis Management - King Thinking is a good lesson for us all. To start, ask yourself. . . is there an issue, event or action in your life with which you are struggling with? If yes, review and consider the following. | This week's message is dedicated to my granddaughter Mattison who passed away this last week. My wife and I as well as our extended family were challenged by a tragedy 25 years ago and now Corey (our youngest son) and Lisa have lost their 3 week old daughter. My thanks to our men's group for their sympathies and prayers. The support of family and friends is very much appreciated. |
We also know that circumstances are beyond our control but we also know that our conduct is based on our beliefs. For example, a King believes. . .
His life has a purpose and he pursues it with passion.
He knows life will provide consequences if he violates his principles.
And he knows he is accountable and refuses to make excuses for his actions.
Next, we need to remember a King is compassionate and consistent. He has a social conscience, is intolerant of injustice and knows that his strength of character starts with integrity of actions.
Last of all, a King knows when a crisis unfolds; he knows they will happen but he does not panic, he understands fear and manages it, and he knows these are not a crisis for God. Yes these few words are just a start. We have much more that we can share to help you in solving a crisis. Just use our D2B Contact Form and let us know of any questions or comments that you have. We will respond as quick as we can.
In closing, we all know that everyone of us will have a crisis at some time and unfortunately, we can have multiple challenges unfold as our years roll by. It is how we deal with them that is the key. I hope the above helps and remember, we have a role model (look at Jesus and review Mark 4:35-41). He did not allow fear to stop Him from accomplishing His mission. He acted calm and remained rational in the face of great crisis. |
