Just a few items to share this week. . . First is this picture and words to the left. You may recognize him as a Knight of the 22nd Century. Leonard Nimoy was a man of many talents and he gave us a great example on a "First Officer". Second, Spock's words are a good challenge to ourselves - who do we see ourselves as? |
Do you (or someone you know) seem to be the wrong type of guy? That you find yourself wondering what type of man you are? Seeing that people, places or things disrupt your thinking or plans. Or find so many other things influence you negatively versus impacting you positively.
Or do see yourself as a man on track, one you are proud to be? That you see the progress toward your goals; that patience, self-control, love, kindness, and goodness characteristics are more your norm and you are glad of who you are and the direction you are heading.
We also need to remember that in all things - others know us by our actions, not by our thoughts. If you are on track, also know that a K/21 is a part of a Revolutionary Movement - the 4th Step: Where a man changes himself, envisions what is good for others, relates positively with others, and gathers with other like minded men to influence and to change the world. Thank you for joining with us in these pursuits!
That is plenty for this week and with those words to ponder, remember they are just the summary points from our 20th Trail. Leverage those aspects that help you the most and if you have any questions or would like to know more on what is shared, just use our Contact Form and we'll respond as soon as we can.
Now in closing, don't forget that we can also benefit from good words like these to the right on Character (from Abraham Lincoln) or those below on the "Fruits of the Spirit" (from the New Testament). In knowing both, we can learn and pursue them. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. -Galatians 5:22-23 |
