"Be careful who you trust. Salt & Sugar look the same.”
So, why bring this up now? Because trust is a condition in life that can be in place for so many reasons, but then can be lost easily & quickly. And that is why it is so tightly connected with our reputation. Both take a while to build up and both can be ruined by a single wrong action. Which then prompts these 2 questions: 1) Of those you know who have lost your trust, how do you treat them now? 2) Of those you know who you have lost their trust, how do they treat you now? Most likely, the answers to both are similar = not trusted. It is in knowing this, we need to ensure: Trust is never broken. |
Psalm 40:4 ”Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!”
