We all most likely understand the word [accountability] but for whatever the reason, some struggle with understanding the ramifications. So, think of it this way . . . Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions. And that means there is a price for us all in what we say and do. If good, we usually see a growing appreciation of us by others. |
But if our words and/or actions cause problems, if we are not accountable for them, we are a troublemaker at the least or a possible criminal at the most. And also note . . . we all gain an appreciation from others when we are accountable for our actions. And remember . . . 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what they have done in the body, whether good or evil. |
