Most understand and believe that the Christian Bible has a lot of good information but most have no good way of understanding what is in it and how and when to best leverage it. For example, these words shared on 'Salvation'. Did you know . . .
1. God loves you: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) 2. God has a plan for you: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11) | 3. Because of our sin, we are separated from God: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) |
5. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins: God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
6. If you repent of your sins and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will be saved from your sins: Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)
7. You can be sure that if you ask Christ to save you, He will: Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God . . . These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:1, 13)
Just remember: Salvation is deliverance . . . from sin and its consequences.
It is free . . . it is offered by grace alone, because we believe in Jesus Christ. There isn't anything you can do to earn it.
And it is available . . . because there is always hope, and there is always a chance to accept Christ, as long as there is life.
Thank you Pastor David Jeremiah for sharing these insights (your teachings help us tremendously).
