Our Summer Session #5 looks at being 'Changed.' And by this I mean . . . do we see the change in ourselves as we read the Bible and work to grow in our faith? Pastor David Jeremiah has shared this: 'What the Bible will change in our lives.' It will promote success in all that we do (ref. Psalm 1:1-3). It will provide a cleansing for our life, guarding against the toxins that erode our walk with the Lord (ref. Psalm 119:9). It will prevent sin when we embrace God's word (ref. Psalm 37:31, Psalm 119:11). |
It will prepare us for meaningful prayers (ref. John 15:7).
It will preserve our hope in times of discouragement (ref Luke 24:32).
It will point the way to salvation (ref. John 20:31, 2 Tim. 3:14-15 and 1 Peter 1:23).
It will produce spiritual growth as we study the Bible (ref. 2 Tim. 3:16-17).
