The Apostle Paul wrote . . . "May the Lord give you understanding in all things." (2 Timothy 2:7) Know that: Believer is another word for a Christian - someone who believes in Jesus Christ (an unbeliever doesn't). Forgiveness is canceling of a debt owed. Our Lord Jesus (through His death) has fully discharged all our obligations caused by our sins.
Grace is God giving to us what we do not deserve in the form of an eternal life (His gift to us for believing in His Son as our Savior and for growing in faith).
Holiness is a purity of the heart, undefiled, separate from sin. We cannot become holy without the Spirit of God.
Living Sacrifice is understood via these two perspectives. The first in the Old Testament – an animal sacrifice was needed to receive forgiveness from sin. The second is in the New Testament – where there is no need for dead sacrifices because Jesus (His crucifixion) became the sacrifice for us.
Salvation is our reward for being Christians – for when we are saved, we are a new person and blessed with the Holy Spirit.
Sin is anything that we do that violates God's will.
The Holy Spirit is our counselor, a part of God who lives within us as we embrace our faith (encouraging us to do good and warning us when we consider or do sinful actions).

The Old Testament is the first 39 books of the Bible. It begins with Genesis and ends with Malachi. In it we learn of God's creation, of our struggles against God and His desire to reconcile us to Him (and point to Jesus as our Savior).
Trinity is our way of understanding God our heavenly Father, Jesus His Son our Savior and His Holy Spirit our Counselor (our Triune God).
Witnessing is sharing our faith, telling others about the gift of salvation through our belief in Jesus – God's Son, our Savior.
