As men, we are encouraged to review what we have learned - as to what courage is, to how we see it in our own lives and when we have kids or grandkids - do we help them to learn of courage?
- As we look at our lives and of those we know - who would we say has demonstrated courage?
- And if we were asked, could we answer - what is courage?
For the Lakes Area men participating in our program - thank you! Please remember to use the next few days to review the follow up information and actions listed in our workbook (good stuff as we dig deeper). For those reading this and not able to attend, we hope the words above and below give you a good challenge as you look at the aspects and the opportunities of stepping up.
And don' forget that 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 teach us: "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love." As you consider aspects of courage for the days ahead, we also hope you have a couple of minutes to review the following (some fuel for your weekend).
"Courage is being scared to death, and saddling up anyway." - John Wayne | "We become just by doing things that are just, temperate by doing things that are temperate, and courageous by doing things that are courageous." - Aristotle | "Do what you need to do, not what you want to do." - OMR |
