Today we remember 15 years ago - a very sad day where so many died - what we all know as 9-11. As I thought on this, our prayers go out for all who died that day and for all the families that lost loved ones. We men should also reflect on who we are and what we are trying to do. That day, thousands of "first responders" did all that they could. As to why? I thought this quote was just one of the many that could be applicable for so many that day: "Strong men stand up for themselves; stronger men stand up for others". |
Remember; what we think, what we pray for and what we do all matters. I hope you will join me and those that are working to pursue those situations where they can do more, to help others, to go above and beyond the typical 'just plugging away'. And if you're not sure how, you can at least be a PAL!
(Perceive) Be aware of what is happening - what is wrong and what is needed.
(Act) Don't end up wishing you did something - take action.
(Love) Make sure those you love know it and challenge yourself to love others.
