Decide 2 Be . . . |

Greetings everyone and welcome to mid June, 2015. Yes our summer of golf continues. Enjoy. . . The shortest of the par fives at the Outing International, the seventh - called "Intelligence", presents a variety of options (562 yards from the green tee). You should also know that during the 2002 PGA Championship, most players went for green in two when the hole played at 543 yards. That can be a dicey strategy, since Pooper's pond on the left (named in honor of George Pooper who donated that portion of land), prevents easy access and the green can be hard to hold if it is downwind. A different course of action was taken by Gimpy Jones in '07; he laid up four times and made four birdies on the strength of his wedge play. So play smartly, just as in life, it is the intelligent way. With that shared, you now have a good pointer to keep in mind as you take on the days, weeks, and months ahead and know that Intelligence, from the dictionary is described as: the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills. What say you?
