It is surprising [at least to me] how easy it is to get the masses focused on what others want them to focus on, verses everyone trying to make the time to see what is happening, to think on what needs to be done and then in taking the right actions going forward. The mob mentality is easy to spark and usually the results are usually more getting hurt, a lot of destruction and fixing [what the mob thinks is needed] the issue, may not happen as desired. I wonder if you would agree . . . yes we all can be angered by an injustice, but our choices on how to best to address that issue – can be all over the place. |
Thinking on this (easier said then done), I liked these words from years back; “Concern yourself not with what you tried and failed in, but with what it is still possible for you to do.”
Yes I think we all can agree that none of this is easy. If we just look at discrimination, it has continued for too long. We have to stop enabling the few that keep it going, we have to penalize those that cause harm when they do it. Any time that someone discriminates or harms someone because they are black, red, brown, yellow or white is harming our society. We have to know what is silly and what is serious – and yes, discrimination is serious. We are in this together [we just need to embrace it].
Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
