This week we circle around the questions of: Where am I at in regards to what I want to do, what have I achieved, how do others view me and why are things not going as they should? Yes there are so many other questions but these above and below are to help trigger thoughts that then tie in with the challenge. . . How well is our Planning and Providing? As this quote from Emerson challenges us, we want to live well. Planning and providing are just two of the actions we should pursue to accomplish that. Our challenge, how do we interpret these? |
If you've been a 'pursue as best can' or 'with good intentions', those may only go so far. We encourage you to join us as we take some time to look and to validate: how is my life, my marriage, my family, my job, my faith? Are these on track as I would like them to be, am I planning and providing as I should. Are adjustments required? Don't forget these good words from Psalm 16:9 "The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps". If you're not making plans as you should, start. If your faith is not being pursued, don't be surprised by what happens to you or your loved ones. Step Up!
We hope the above gives you some good things to consider - and don't forget: Planning and Providing go hand in hand when we put the big picture of life into perspective. We also hope that this quote from Vince L. via our Summer to Fall Review (S2FR) #8 on Excellence gives you a good target to strive for as your months ahead unfold. | And don't forget Titus 2:7 "In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works; in doctrine uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity. Why? Because pursuing the right things is never about why - they are always driven by the why not (and let us know if you have any comments). |
