Today we kick off a new series that looks at the aspects of the this challenge and I will start with just a few words on what I will call . . . [stand up] 2 honor others; for when we do, show insights to our own character.
To me, I would hope that all think about and do what is right in standing up when we should; for our flag (which reminds us of those that have fought and died or have been horribly wounded for our freedom), for those that have served, for those that have acts of honor. I think of the teacher who recently tackled and stopped the shooter in his classroom, despite being shot himself three times. I think of the teen who asks a special need person to a dance, just to give that person a good memory. I think of all of those that do acts of kindness, just because they want to help others. To them I stand up and I thank them, I honor them for what they do for all the rest of us. What say you ?
Romans 13:7 Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect;
if honor, then honor.
